Well...My Utah hunt is over and I am sad to say I wasn't successful! We stayed on the mountain 10 days and seen a few decent bucks. There was full moon the first 4 or 5 days so I'm sure some were up feeding at night. We were seeing most of them in late morning early afternoon. I did get a shot early morning on the 9th day at a small 3 point. I felt I put it where it belonged but after 3 hours of searching with a good blood trail, the trail ended and I didn't recover the deer. As much as I love archery and being out in the mountains this is the part that sucks......you never want to wonder if you just wounded them.
We had alot of friend and family time and alotof good meals so it was a pretty good year!! Please post and let me know how you did.
